Agave Berry Purée Meat Sauce

Serves: 4

Serving: 1/2 cup


   2 cups blackberries or raspberries
   1/4 cup agave
   3 tablespoons lemon juice
   2 tablespoons regular or fruit-flavored brandy, optional
   Dash thyme, to taste
   Dash mint leaves, to taste

Agave Berry Purée Meat Sauce is from the Cook'n with Agave collection.
Purée blackberries in blender or food processor. If desired, press through sieve to remove seeds. Or, mash berries with a fork. Stir in agave, lemon juice and brandy, if desired, until blended. Season to taste with thyme and mint.
